Kangaroo Leather

Kangaroo leather has the highest tensile strength of any hide leather, this is due to the fibre structure that runs parallel to the surface of the leather. Hides are usually quite thin, but very strong which makes them ideal for wallets. Naturally thin, kangaroo leather retains all its strength where other raw material types require heavy splitting and shaving which significantly reduces physical performance. Our roo hides are vegetable-tanned leather which carries a more natural look and ages beautifully both in look and feel.
